New features in this release include:
Get and Put commands were added to TRANSIT, and CCITERM was enhanced to support both to provide easier file transfers.Valid entries are: a) P or PUT to send a file from the local TRANSIT computer to a remote CCITERM computer (see EXAMPLE A below); and b) G or GET to receive a file from the remote computer and store it on the local computer (see EXAMPLE B below). Example A If connected via CCITERM, receive the file update.xxx from the C:\updates\customer.001 subdirectory of the remote CCITERM computer and store it as file update.exe in the C:\temp\update subdirectory on the local TRANSIT computer. The syntax for this would be:C>TRANSIT GET c:\updates\customer.001\update.xxx c:\temp\update.exe. Example B: If connected via CCITERM, send the file infobufr.bin from the C:\ subdirectory of the local TRANSIT computer and store it as file infobufr.bin on the E: drive in the remote CCITERM computer. The syntax for this would be: C>TRANSIT PUT c:\infobufr.bin e:
PCI serial port board support was expanded with the addition of the Digi PCI Classic 4 and 8 port boards. The new boards can now be selected via the CONFIG program's "Board Model" picklist.
PCI serial port board support was further expanded with the addition of the Lava PCI non-intelligent 2, 4, and 8 port serial boards. The new boards can now be selected via the CONFIG program's "Board Model" picklist. See item 4 for the full list of supported LAVA boards.
System support for hand configured (that is, where automatic configuration can't be used) PCI serial boards is improved: If Base port/interrupt register/poll reg = FFFF, then we query each port for cause of interrupt.
