Memory Allocation

The system includes advanced memory management techniques that relocate the operating system into high memory, ensuring the maximum amount of memory available for use by applications. Total memory available is allocated from a dynamic pool and does not use fixed partitions. Multiuser DOS 7 Gold supports applications that require the use of DPMI memory (protected mode).

Remote Access and Support

Multiuser DOS 7 Gold includes integrated functionality to support remote system access. The operating system has beendesigned so that any function that can be performed on-site can also be performed remotely, with a dial-in or dedicatedconnection.
