Multiuser DOS 7 GOLD

Multiuser/Multitasking Operating System

Multiuser DOS 7 Gold is a multitasking, multiuser operating system, that is combined with integrated security, remote access, remote support, communications, scripting and diagnostics to provide a robust and reliable platform for turnkey systems. The operating system supports 16 and 32-bit DPMI applications, and takes advantage of an optimized 32-bit kernel. The system provides a high-level and fully integrated Multiuser and preemptive multitasking environment that enables up to 250 users to share a single Intel 386, 486, Pentium or compatible CPU. Each user can have up to 32 simultaneous PC-sessions at a single station, supporting both text and graphics applications.

Multiuser DOS 7 Gold runs both single-user and network versions of most popular off-the-shelf software applications without any customization. The operating system is widely used by software developers, systems integrators and VARs for implementing custom applications. Multiuser DOS 7 Gold supports applications developed in most programming languages and database development systems, providing an extremely cost-effective and easy-to-maintain turnkey solution.

Multiuser DOS 7 Gold offers maximum flexibility in station hardware. System users can be connected to the Host system via serial terminals, existing PCs, as workstations, or Multiuser Display Adapters (VGA MaxStation)
