The way you do function key assignments for Medical Manager Version 7 is different from earlier versions.

You can select a file of definitions by using the SET command to load an environmental variable called MEDFKEYS as follows:

SET MEDFKEYS=\MEDPROGS\IBMPC.KEY

This will be used by Medical Manager to locate the file that contains the function key definitions.

Those definitions are now assigned their values through the Medical Manager program. To select the function key menu, enter /M22 at the main menu of Medical Manager, then select 5-DEFINE Direct Chain Keys. This screen is where you may alter definitions.

The supplied files, IBMPC.KEY and TVI925.KEY, work with CCI Concurrent DOS and Multiuser DOS GOLD.
