CCITERM FAQ

Q: What is the newest version of CCITerm?
A: The newest version of CCITerm is 02/03/98.

Q: How can I purchase CCITerm? How much does it cost?
A: CCITerm comes with the Concurrent DOS and Multiuser DOS 7 Gold operating systems. It is not available for purchase separately.

Q: Does CCITerm run under Windows NT?
A: CCITerm has not been tested under Windows NT.

Q: I'm having trouble getting CCITerm to run under Windows 95/98, what should I do?
A: Review our CCITerm under Windows 95/98 setup sheet for instructions on running CCITerm under Windows 95/98.

Q: I followed your CCITerm under Windows 95/98 setup sheet, but it still isn't working. What next?
A: See if it works outside of Windows 95/98. Reboot your computer and when you see the "Starting Windows 95 (98)" text message quickly hit the F8 key. This will bring up a boot menu where you should choose "Safe Mode Command Prompt Only". Choosing that option will bring you to a C prompt. Now try running CCITERM and see if it works.

Q: I tried the last suggestion and it does work outside of Windows 95. Is there any way to get it working in Windows 95/98?
A: CCITerm is a dos program so getting it to run successfully under Windows 95/98 can be tricky depending on your machine. Since it's a program written specifically for MS-DOS, we can only offer limited assistance getting it to work under Windows 95/98. Check your Startup folder and make sure you have no fax software, or other type of communications software loading. If you do, remove it from the Startup folder as it could be interfering with CCITerm.

Q: Is there a version of CCITerm for Windows 95/98?
A: Concurrent Controls has not produced a version of CCITerm for Windows 95/98. There is a third party package that is Windows 95/98 native, called AMEComm, which provides the necessary PCTERM emulation needed to dial into a DOS 7 GOLD system. You can download a demo of AMEComm from the AMEComm Home Page. Please be aware that Concurrent Controls provides no technical support for this software. You must contact the author of AMEComm for technical support.
