1. Press TAB or Right-Arrow to move to the Modem Details window. Modem Name will be highlighted. Press ENTER and name your modem. It is suggested you name it by its model or brand. Press ENTER when done.
  2. Press Down-Arrow to assign to station, press ENTER, select your dial in station name, and press ENTER to complete Press Down-Arrow to select Direction and press ENTER, select Dial-in and Press ENTER.the entry.
  3. Press Down-Arrow to select Modem Model, press ENTER, select your modem model and press ENTER.
  4. Press Down-Arrow to Init Options, press ENTER, select Initialize on boot, and press ENTER.Press ESC three time to return to the Main Menu.
  5. Press Down-Arrow and ENTER or A to select Security Administration.
  6. Press ALT, select Add User Account, and press ENTER to Add a new user or press Insert.
  7. Select the new user, press TAB, press ENTER and change the name to a meaningful name, press ENTER. Select and enter a password if needed. All other entries may be left at the default settings or changed as needed.
  8. Press ESC to the Main Menu. Press ESC once more, you will be prompted to press Y to save your configuration changes. Press Y to save your new configuration and exit.

    At this point you have completed the setup for remote access on the system and all that is left is the programming of the modem for dial in. This can be done in several ways. You can use one of many communication programs, including our own CCI TERM. The simplest way to accomplish programming the modem is by using the CONNECT command.
